Unicorns are the innocent, the pure, and the most deserving of protection, and the centaurs of the Forbidden Forest worked to defend them just beyond the school grounds...literally the school’s “backyard.” It's in this spirit that our charity partner for the Forbidden 5k is In Our Backyard.

In Our Backyard is known for posting 'Freedom Stickers' in every state across America. Over 500,000 of these stickers to date have helped create access to freedom for victims and survivors of human trafficking. They display the National Human Trafficking hotline, and are strategically posted in public restrooms nationwide. When a trafficking survivor calls or texts this hotline, they are offered hope and help.

Our support through this event will help In Our Backyard place thousands upon thousands of Freedom Stickers in communities around the country, letting victims of human trafficking know that help is within reach.

We participate in these events, we push ourselves physically and mentally, we sweat and toil for reasons unique to each of us. But the fact remains that the distance is crossed, and the victory is earned FOR each of us, and that is a source of pride that no one can take from us, and a light that no one can diminish. So we stand up to those obstacles, great or small, and we tell them: NOT TODAY. That's the inspiration behind -- and right on the front of -- the official Forbidden 5k event shirt!

Available in multiple fabrics and styles from tees, to tanks, to long-sleeves, proceeds will also support In Our Backyard.
