The Deaf Dogs Rock Story
Deaf Dogs Rock – it all started in 2010 when the Lee's adopted an abandoned deaf boxer pup named Nitro.
Since that time Deaf Dogs Rock has grown and evolved from a family wishing to help others by providing information to a non-profit organization run by a board of directors, approved by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity. International reach, thousands of dogs saved, a community of 75,000+ sharing support, it has been a pleasure and we are incredibly excited about our future.
As a non-profit charitable organization, Deaf Dogs Rock will always be 100% transparent to the public. On this page you'll find our mission statement, our organizing documents, and a brief introduction to our board of directors.

Have had a couple dogs go deaf as they got older. Didn’t make them any less lovable..
Kathy and I have a Rescue Desf,senior with cancer , his name is Hunter , he’s our second rescue, deaf senior, we will always have a deaf senior rescue til death is do part, so if possible we will always try too support this foundation.
We love our deafies and they absolutely hear with their hearts!!
