About this campaign

Rancho Obi-Wan is 10 years old! Your purchase supports our mission of inspiration. Thank you! Rancho Obi-Wan is a publicly supported, nonprofit museum in Petaluma, California that houses the world’s largest Star Wars memorabilia collection, as certified by Guinness World Records in 2014.

Our mission is to inspire people by showcasing the collection and promoting a warm, joyous, inclusive environment for a fun, authentic fan experience. We present collectibles and works of art, including fan-made pieces, to inspire others to be imaginative, creative, seek information and learn new crafts.

Rancho Obi-Wan started 10 years ago after owner Steve Sansweet retired from 15 years as Head of Fan Relations at Lucasfilm. Steve always loved sharing his collection with family and friends, but as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit he was then able to share with the world. Through ticketed tours, events, and traveling exhibits, the Rancho Obi-Wan Star Wars collection has inspired thousands of people of all ages.We are eager to reopen post-pandemic as soon as we feel it is safe for our guests. Until then, however, the bills must continue to be paid. Insurance, utilities, and maintenance are more expensive than ever. With your help we will can ensure the preservation of the collection into the future.
