The mission of the B.E. PTA is to support the education and well-being of each child at Bethesda Elementary School. We strive to bring together the student’s home, school, and our Bethesda community with the goal of improving the elementary school experience for each B.E. student.

To achieve our mission, the PTA’s goals include:

Supporting the education of our B.E. children. We offer curriculum enriching opportunities for our students that go beyond the MCPS curriculum. We provide STEM, cultural art residencies and activities to enhance the classroom experience. Additionally, we provide before and after school club extracurricular programming.

Support our B.E. teachers and administrators. We offer classroom grants for all our teachers, support teacher training, and classroom supply support.

Support a healthy and positive B.E. community. We offer community building activities throughout the school year to facilitate a close knit, inclusive, and fun community for our B.E. families to get to know each other and live the elementary school experience together. Additionally, we provide educational seminars for our parent members in addition to the many fun social events in our year’s programming.

Bethesda Elementary PTA is in the process of filing a 1023 Tax Form to reinstate its non-profit status and is requesting that reinstatement date back to the period of revocation. Please consult with your tax professional for any questions about any donations.
