About this campaign

March 2022 will be DVDPA cabin fever month!

Cabin fever, stir crazy, winter blues, any way you word it, it all means the same. We and our dogs are ready to get outside and get moving. What better way than the DVDPA Cabin Fever Virtual 5k. Don’t let the 5K scare you! it can be done in one day, one week, one month, just do it! Run, Jog or walk. Do it at the Gym if the weather is bad, or at home on a treadmill if that works for you! Maybe start a team with your friends or a friendly competition with your significant other! For 25.00 you and your dog can enter and get this really cool Cabin fever 5k tee shirt. once you have completed your 5k ( on your own schedule of course ) just snap a pic in your shirt with your dog and post it up on social media using #DVDPAFEVER5K ... Registration is simple. No forms to fill out, just order a shirt (s) ! That’s it, the shirt is the registration fee. Registration will be open until 2-10-2022 Once you receive your Tee you are ready to roll.. Again, when in the month of March you choose to complete it is up to you! We want to see you and your pups getting out and getting some fresh air and having fun all while supporting DVDPA.

DVDPA, Inc. is Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Doberman Rescue made up of volunteers. We rescue and assist Dobermans in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

DVDPA, Inc. was started in 1989. Our group rescues Dobermans in the PA, NJ & Delaware regions. We have also helped to place other Dobermans by referrals.

We supply food, shelter and medical care to Dobermans in our program until a forever home can be found. Dogs come to us from local shelters and owners that can no longer care for their dog.

The dogs in our program are housed in foster homes and boarding kennels.

Most of our rescues are happy, healthy Dobermans that require little medical attention besides routine vaccinations, spaying or neutering. We also handle special needs Dobies in our program.

All of our Dobermans are adopted to approved applicants after a home visit has been completed and vet references are checked. We work on matching dogs and owners based on the personality of the dog and the desires of the adopter. All of our rescues are spayed or neutered before being placed.
