About this campaign
June is National Dysphagia Awareness Month - a statute passed by Congress in 2008 thanks to strong advocacy by the National Foundation of Swallowing Disorders and many others in the swallowing disorder community - including patients, caregivers, clinicians, and researchers.

My daughter has pediatric feeding and swallowing disorder. She has dysphagia because of this as well as oral motor deficits and oral apraxia. She works so hard to learn how to eat and swallow safely,
