About this campaign

The rivers of Portage County brought us here and sustain us to this day. From wild rice harvesting to lumberjacks to fly fishing, celebrate the history and beauty of Portage County's waterways with this unique river design. All proceeds support the preservation and education initiatives of the Portage County Historical Society.

The Portage County Historical Society was founded in 1952 by a group of citizens concerned that our local history would not be preserved for future generations to learn from and enjoy. Today, PCHS operates four historic sites, preserves 500,000 documents, photos and artifacts, and presents a wide array of educational programming and tours.
