About this campaign
All Shepherd Rescue (ASR) matches adoptable, lovable Shepherds and mixes with their forever family. Our adoption process works to match the personality and needs of each dog with their new owner. We want each placement to be a WIN-WIN; making each a terrific match. Funds raised will be used, by ASR, to help our dogs.
Shelters nationwide are overflowing with dogs being euthanized regularly. ASR is helping as many dogs as we can but we need your help. We find ourselves with increasing numbers of incoming dogs as families are impacted by changes in the economy and our fundraising opportunities have decreased as Covid restrictions have reduced our ability to hold events.

MEET HEATH
Heath and his two sisters joined the ASR family in July when their caregiver could no longer commit to them. ASR didn’t hesitate to take Heath, although we knew that he had an unknown hip issue which might require specialized care. Without ASR’s commitment, Heath may not have found a safe haven elsewhere.
He has now been seen by a local top Orthopedic /Sports Medicine Vet and has had radiographs done. The diagnosis is an abnormal displaced left hip possibly due to congenital abnormality or trauma very early in life. Other than taking daily joint supplements and avoiding slippery surfaces, the vet felt nothing else was needed, at this time. Heath is not held back by this gait abnormality and runs and plays with abandon. The Vet feels he may never need other treatment to have a long and happy life.
Heath is living his best life as a normal puppy. While he is shy initially when meeting people Heath LOVES to play with his canine foster siblings. Heath is what is termed a "plush coat" shepherd, with beautiful silky long hair - quite the handsome hunk! Heath loves to cuddle and will stick to you like glue when he is comfortable with you, quite the "velcro" puppy !
