Buddy The Miracle Lab,

This coming spring marks the 5th anniversary of Buddy the Miracle Labs rescue! To celebrate this we are launching a new shirt! In April of 2021 Tunica Humane Society received a call about a dog with cord wrapped around neck. When Natalie arrived she discovered that it was an electrical cord and he had been set on fire. He was rushed to emergency vet then to our vet who determined he needed to go to MSU. Buddy spent the next year under the care of the fabulous Vet care team led by Dr Swanson who later adopted him. Investigators determined that Buddy’s injuries were caused by an underage child who couldn’t be charged due to age. This inspired lawmakers in Mississippi to create Buddy’s Law! This law will insure that any underage child committing a crime will be required to get evaluated and help given to ensure they never hurt anyone or any animal again. Buddy stole hearts at the States Capitol when he attended the signing of a Buddy’s Law.

Buddy has become quite the spokes dog! He loves being out meeting people to show just how resilient dogs can be! He has his own Facebook page “Buddy The Miracle Lab”.
