Cohen Strong

On April 29th, the Francis family received life-changing news. After noticing that their middle son, Cohen, had been extremely tired, bruising easily, and looking very pale, Eric and Brianne took him in for a checkup. His lab results came back with very concerning numbers, including a white blood cell count of 640,000 and dangerously low hemoglobin levels. Within hours, a diagnosis was made and the family was urgently transferred to Sioux Falls, where Cohen was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

Cohen is an incredibly kind, outgoing, smart, loving little boy. He is a kindergartener at East Elementary in Sheldon and is deeply loved by everyone who knows him. While this journey ahead will not be easy, we know Cohen is brave, strong, and surrounded by so much love and support.

We are praying fervently for Cohen as he begins this fight against Leukemia. We pray for strength, healing, comfort, and guidance for Eric and Brianne as they navigate this unimaginable road. We also lift up Camden, Lainey, and the entire Francis family as they walk through the days ahead together.
