About this campaign

On May 22, 2017, we learned we would be adding another little girl to our family. We also learned that she would be born with a severe congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, essentially half of a functional heart.

Nora was born on October 9th and had her first open heart surgery four days later. The care she has been receiving at Levine Children's Hospital has been incredible.

Single ventricle babies like Nora face at least three open heart surgeries in their first few years of life. The road is not easy and organizations like The HEARTest Yard provide priceless support to families throughout these surgeries. Nora wants to help in their mission to improve the long term prognosis for pediatric heart patients at Levine.

From the moment she was born, Nora has been helped by her amazing doctors and nurses, other heart families in the community, and her family and friends. In honor of all those who have supported her, as well as other kids who have and will face this diagnosis, we have created Nora's Heart as a way to give back. It began with fundraising for the HEARTest Yard 5K back in June and we hope to continue it in the future.

Proceeds from these t-shirts will be donated to the HEARTest Yard. We want to send a special thank you to everyone who is able to help and we look forward to doing more in Nora's honor in the future!
