OUTLaws and BLSA support Black Lives Matter

It is essential to recognize that the American LGBTQ+ Rights Movement was founded on the backs of black trans women. We do not forget their sacrifices, nor the ways that their intersecting racial and LGBTQ+ identities impacted their lives. Just as we honor and remember Marsha P. Johnson, Miss Major Griffin-Gracey and many other black LGBTQ+ pioneers; we honor the lives of George Floyd, Tony McDade, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery. We will work to see that their legacies are that of justice and the end to an atrocious cycle of violence.
