About this campaign
Whether you are a volunteer, adopter, supporter, or staff, you are a member of the PetConnect Rescue family. We have one goal in common, and that is making sure that our animals get all the love and care that they need as they transition from shelters to foster care and wait to find their forever families. And, we are all in this together. What better way to show your commitment and support than by participating in our Fall 2017 Spirit Wear Campaign? Refresh your wardrobe or, for our newcomers, stock up on your PCR attire! It is just one more way to spread the word about our fantastic rescue and to entice people to visit our website, attend our events, adopt our animals, and to get involved! As an added incentive, proceeds collected from this shirt campaign will be designated toward Minnie's Miracle Journey! Minnie was one of our extra special rescues from Texas. Please be sure to read her story below, if you are not already familiar, and to follow her progress on social media. If we are fortunate enough to raise funds that exceed Minnie's expenses, we will use those excess dollars to care for other PCR animals who are in need.
A couple of quick notes about shirt sales... For anyone new to our shirt campaigns, there will be a small shipping charge added to your order and, for Virginia residents, sales tax as well. Please be sure to check the size charts and size ranges for each style and color of garment.
Say hello to itty-bitty Minnie! Minnie, along with mom, Missy, and brother, Mickey, were among the dogs brought to PetConnect Rescue from Texas in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Once out of harms way, Minnie thought it would be smooth sailing, but shortly after her arrival, she was diagnosed with a Patent Ductus Arteriosus, a congenital heart defect. Minnie underwent heart surgery on October 9th and is recovering nicely. Though she has a bit of a rough road ahead of her, she is a strong, little pup surrounded by lots of love from her foster family and a commitment from PetConnect Rescue to get her the best care possible.
