About this campaign

Scout is the 2 year old daughter to Bretton & Haley Schulz, sister to Samson.

On February 1, 2018, this sweet family's world was turned upside down, finding out that Scout had a brain tumor and would need emergency brain surgery to remove it. Surgery was performed to remove the tumor and Scout spent 2 weeks at Dell Children’s hospital in Austin recovering. On February 20th, pathology results revealed that Scout has grade 4 Glioblastoma. On March 1st, a MRI scan revealed significant regrowth of the tumor and subsequently another surgery was performed on March 2nd to remove the tumor. Guided by the team of doctors at Dell Children’s and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Scout begins 6-12 months of chemotherapy on March 19th.

On December 1, 2018 we learned that Scout's tumor had slightly regrown. The tumor is still very small, and is growing slowly due to her chemo treatment. Chemo is working but not stopping this monster in its tracks. The next step in the process is for Scout to start treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Scout still has a long road ahead. Scout is so strong and brave, and has been SUCH a fighter. Please join us in helping this awesome family by purchasing a t-shirt. Proceeds of the fundraiser will go to benefit the Schulz family's needs during this trying time.

I have Scout and her sweet family on my mind day and night. Her parents were coaches at my high school for about a year and they made such a impact while there! I know God has big plans for sweet Scout! Continual prayers for healing!
