About this campaign
Free Raven 23 is a movement that seeks to uncover and expose how the administration and the Department of Justice have sacrificed four honorable and decorated veterans in an effort to appease the Iraqi government's quest for blood. By hiding evidence, misrepresenting evidence, presenting perjured testimony and giving inappropriate instructions to a civilian jury in Washington, DC, the Department of Justice was able to secure convictions. Paul, Dustin, and Evan were sentenced 30 yrs and Nick to life. This was done against four Department of State contractors who took only necessary and authorized actions to defend themselves in war-torn Baghdad Iraq in 2007. In August of 2017 the Appellate Court panel overturned Nick's life sentence and remanded him for retrial. We are fighting for freedom and praying that he receives a fair trial that results in his homecoming.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to help alleviate the financial strains of living in the Washington DC area during the retrial.

I believe in this family and pray they finally can have Nick home. Our justice system has failed these true heroes.
We believe in Nick and we know he is innocent.
Nick served as a soldier and is a Godly man. And no matter how it looks around us God is still in control.
Nick and the other brave men from Raven 23 have been put through the ringer by our government. We must stand up for Nick, Paul, Dustin and Evan and demand justice. They all bravely stood up for us voluntarily by their service in our armed forces and
I know Nick’s family and I fully support our troops. This is an unbelievable situation and I hurt for the Slatten’s.
I'm a friend of Christin Slough and it's shameful that these men are here at all. Prayers and may God bless you all!
