About this campaign
This September, David Lawrence Center is joining the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and other voices of recovery from across the nation to observe the 30th Annual Recovery Month.
The objective of Recovery Month is to increase awareness and understanding of mental and substance use disorders and celebrate the people who recover. It promotes the message that behavioral health is essential to health, prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover from mental and substance use disorders.
In light of this month-long observation, DLC invites you to #StandUp and purchase a purple (the official color of Recovery Month) shirt to show your support. A portion of the proceeds from your purchase will go toward our mission of restoring and rebuilding lives by providing compassionate, advanced, and exceptional mental health, substance abuse, and integrated healthcare solutions, available to all.
