If you aren’t a member of a NAMI affiliate somewhere across the country, NOW is the time!

>>>Go to www.nami.org and search your State & then your County. There should be a NAMI affiliate fairly close by. But, if you want to attend another County's ZOOM Yoga for example, just call them! They would love to have you join them!

Why NAMI? Because I know that the members truly care about others. And my NAMI Peers care about me-- despite my anxieties and my ADD to start with.

I have been to a variety of NAMI affiliate classes, support groups and activities –in other counties as well. And I can tell you without hesitation, that I learn something new from each one! Though the Foundation of NAMI is grounded on the same principles & mission statement, there are new ways that people are now connecting and learning—especially during this covid time.

All-in-all…We are One Big Extended, Growing, Enlightening, Persevering NAMI FAMILY!

So with my Peers by my side during this Mental Health Awareness/Virtual Walk Event, here are our Goals:

#1 Goal: Awareness--Stomp out Stigma! Focus on ways to: Listen more. Judge less. and help our extended family to FIND a NAMI affiliate close by.

#2 Goal: Fundraise with our 2020 NAMI 'Mantra' shirts. Not only is this a great time to TELL others, but to SHOW them that you support Mental Health. With many different shirt styles—a short sleeve (men's & women’s cut), a long sleeve tee + a long sleeve raglan sleeve style + a great looking heather navy hoodie, we have also added a sharp Performance-style Zip-up Sweatshirt which will keep you even more warm and dry because of its wicking material.

With all of those possible choices, there's sure to be a style for you and a different style as a gift for a good friend, colleague or to say 'Thanks’ to hard-working volunteers or special guests in your affiliate.

>>>WE'VE EXTENDED THE SALE !! Wed, October 28th @ midnight is the NEW due date for all four items in our fundraiser--the Urban 15" Computer Messenger Bag + the 20 oz. Vacuum Insulated Swirl Tumbler + the different designs on the shirt styles. All items should arrive about 12 working days after the due date--around Nov 16th (a little gift to yourself for voting, perhaps). If you are having it BULK shipped because you live in the NAMI Champaign area, we will let you know by email of the dates & times for our Fundraiser pick-up.
