About this campaign

QWIMB (Queer Women in Music Boston) is an initiative of The History Project, which seeks to document, preserve, and share the history of Boston's LGBTQ community. We focus exclusively on the contributions of queer women (lesbians, bisexuals, transgender women, non-binary, and all who identify as women) to Boston's rich music scene - individual musicians, bands, and DJs - and seek to share an historical perspective and to keep a strong tradition going by providing a fresh outlet to current artists.
