About this campaign
The New York Harbor School Keelboat Sailing Team is a competitive team mostly made up of students who never before had the opportunity to sail! We are so proud to have students who never set foot on a sailboat eventually rise up to the rank of captain of the team! Our sailors compete against other high school teams, and we placed1st and 3rd in our last regatta out of 8 boats!
However, terrible budget cuts mean we can no longer purchase uniforms. Please help us raise funds so that each sailor can have their own jersey!
The New York Harbor School Sailing Team provides teenagers of all socioeconomic statuses an opportunity to learn to sail and compete in regattas. However, some of our students come from families that are rich in love and support but are struggling financially. We want all of our kids to proudly sport a team jersey regardless of their families' financial situation. Your contribution will help!
