When I first became a personal trainer, I went through a lot of ups and downs. I didn't have enough capital to have enough gym space, nor did was I able to afford a membership at every gym my clients were at. Most of my clients wanted to be trained in a gym, and not outside. The only solution for me was to get a job at a corporate gym. I found a couple of openings and scheduled my interview. When I got there, I was interviewed in the most unprofessional manner possible and then sexually harassed. As a young woman trainer, it traumatized me. I ended up quitting the thing that I loved to do because I was so scarred by it. I ended up getting a desk job, and have had time to heal and grow and realize nothing should hold me back from doing what I love and EVERYONE should have a safe space to do what they love... whether its working out on their own or training people. My goal is to create an environment where anyone can come to workout, create a healthy and fit lifestyle, and have a place that helps individual trainers grow their business by allowing them to bring their clients to a fully stocked gym with state of the art equipment and no obligation for the client to have a membership. This gym will have regular memberships for the clients, if they choose to make our gym, their gym and special trainer memberships. The trainers control their price they charge their clients, we simply provide a space for them to train their clients for a monthly membership that doesn't change unless the number of sessions they have per week change. We even offer a referral system for trainers that choose our gym as their workspace if they are wanting additional clients. I am saving up to apply for a loan, but i have to have a down payment.
