About this campaign

As William's body grows, he will need more adaptive equipment. We are raising funds to purchase a lift for William from his bathroom to his bed.

William was born healthy. After 3 months of normal development, he began to show signs that didn't add up to typical diagnoses. At 5 months of age and 3 different pediatricians, William was diagnosed with a progressive neurological disorder, called Krabbe Leukodystophy. William is unable to walk; he is now 3 years old and requiring home modifications.
