June 6 thru June 13th 2020: Synapse Laps (Virtual Walk/Run) SUPERHEROES WELCOME! This year our annual family wellness & fundraising event will be virtual, shared through social media, and will include celebration and welcome of new superheroes – those on the pandemic front lines. Sign-up on our RaceRoster event site and commit to your own personal “laps." The $25 registration amount helps provide resources and services for adult survivors of brain injury. Share your at-home walk, run, ride or roll to support BIND and brain health. The first 50 Synapse Laps registrants will receive a custom t-shirt comfy fabric mask that coordinates with this limited run t-shirt. All Synapse Laps registrants will have access to several wellness tips for better brain and physical health throughout the week of the event - presented by our BIND program members! Although our doors have been closed due to COVID-19, our community is open for more than 60 survivors of stroke, traumatic brain injury and brain cancer. Our members are engaged in more than 22 scheduled virtual program activities each week and have access to 1:1 time with a licensed professional counselor and the BIND program staff.
