About this campaign
Miss Deani-Mae is a spunky 11-year-old who loves math,
baking, and her four sisters (and her parents, of course!). Deani-Mae has
leukemia, and is the recipient of an Angel Hair system—at no cost to her
family. This gift is only possible with donors like you. Proceeds from each
t-shirt go to the Angel Hair Foundation, ensuring that more girls like
Deani-Mae will also be given the gift of a hair system at no cost to their
families.
We designed this shirt together, incorporating elements that depict Team Deani-Mae:
· Deani-Mae’s favorite animal is the lion, and mine is the elephant. Both animals are known for being strong, courageous, and wise; characteristics that also describe Deani-Mae.
· Both animals face each other, because the two of us are a team.
· The orange ribbon represents Leukemia awareness. The location of this ribbon—between the two animals—is significant: we are a team, and I am here for Deani-Mae as she fights this battle.
· Quote on the back of the shirt: “You are BRAVER than you believe, STRONGER than you seem, SMARTER than you think, and twice as BEAUTIFUL as you’d ever imagined.” This is Deani-Mae.
