The Lazy Danes of Summer Redux '21

Northwest Florida Great Dane Rescue (NWFLGDR) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based out of Pensacola, Fla. NWFLGDR serves a large coverage area — from Jacksonville, Fla. westward along the I-10 corridor through southern Georgia and along the Gulf coasts of north Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and into New Orleans, La. All Great Danes under NWFLGDR. are brought current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped and heartworm tested prior to adoption. Our group is completely comprised of non-paid volunteers and we do not at this time have a centralized facility, preferring to house our Danes in foster homes where they receive love and direction and learn to live as part of a family. Despite Donations being down due to the pandemic hampering our ability to hold fundraisers n person, including our big annual DaneToberFest, the need is as great as ever and we are receiving requests for surrenders daily. Just last weekend, the 1st weekend in May, we had requests for 6 surrenders in 2 days. The need is great and NWFLGDR rarely turns down a Dane in need, taking in the very young to the very old, many with significant outstanding health issues. Won't you please Help?
