About this campaign

This campaign will help raise funds to go towards the startup costs for The Mighty Mikey Foundation. 

After Mikey passed away on May 13, 2015 we knew we wanted to do something that would honor him and help kids in his name. We knew we wanted to start The Mighty Mikey Foundation and we knew there would be no way better to keep Michael's memory alive than in the form of a puppet. 
We will be providing Child Life offices in hopitals across the United States with Mighty Mikey puppets and books. These puppets and books will serve as educational tools and sources of comfort and smilies for kids that have been diagnosed with long term and chronic illnesses. Along with Mighty Mikey puppets we will provide Mighty Kid puppets for Child Life therapists to give to these children to bring home with them, to bring to clinic appointments, to go for testing and procedures with and to use as communication tools with their doctors and care teams.
