People Express Airlines Alumni Reunion

From April 1981 to February 1987, the original PeopleExpress operated throughout the U.S., with all routes leading to Newark. As the first post-deregulation airline, PeopleExpress offered simplified fares, deep discounts, and an unbundled service philosophy. Hundreds of employee-owner CSMs (and later CSRs) ran the day-to-day show at PeopleExpress until it became insolvent after taking on too much debt, and was absorbed into Continental Airlines' operations in early 1987.

This group is for alumni employees of the original PEX. Whether you were in the cockpit, in the cabin, flight or gate operations, working from a business office, or chasing down lost bags, CSR's Too, this group is for you! This fundraiser campaign is to help raise money to have a reunion celebrating People Express Airlines' contribution to the airline industry and American Business.
