My Name is De-Borah Champion and I'm a Licensed Advanced Cosmetogist and Mayvenn Certified Stylist. I was born with a Neurological Birth defect that they didn't find until I was 28. I under went 2 Brain Surgeries in a 14 Month period and overcame a Reading Comprehension problem and a 1.6 G.P.A. The Hospital has lost my records because they said they get rid of your records after 10 years and it's been 21 years since my 1st Surgery. My Body has undergone a total of 10 Surgeries (2 Brain with a Shunt, 1 Spinal, 2 Foot, 2 Carpal Tunnel, 1 Gallbladder, 1 Fallopian Tube and 1 C-Section.) yet I still desire to fulfill my Dream. Because the Hospital lost my Records, the Neurologist is unable to do an MRI because the MRI Machine must be Shunt compatible. I'm currently receiving Injections in the back of my head every 3 months and take 2 daily Meds and was given an emergency Migraine Med if necessary, yet; I still value life and I'm pushing to follow my Dream. I'm a 3rd Generational Stylist who lost both Parents in 2018 and 2 Aunts on my Dad's side as well. I graduated from Cosmetogy School November 4th, 2008; the same day Barack Obama was elected President so that will always be memorable to me. I'm 50, and inspite of everything I've gone through, I value my life, I'm still gifted and refuse to leave this earth without following my Dream. No matter what you've been through, there's a Dream inside of you too so value your life and keep pushing to make your Dreams come true.
