About this campaign
May 5, 2018 marks the 2nd annual Walk for Walter Fundraiser and his & Laurie's 34th wedding anniversary. T-shirts are optional but proceeds will go to the Fund for Wally account. Thank you to those willing to walk, to those who continue to support Walter and to our new friends joining us for the 1st time. Remember, all walks should lead to bar, raise one for Wally!
As Walter continues his fight with ALS, fundraising has become our vital force in keeping up with his needs. Past fundraisers have provided us with necessary equipment like his power wheelchair and handicap accessible van. Continued fundraising enables us to support Walter with such things as his home health aide, physical therapy, massage therapy and acupuncture. Medicare's limited coverage means these funds will also go towards the continuing expenses of needed prescriptions and equipment.
