Founded in 1873 at the Lewis School for Girls in Oxford Mississippi, Delta Gamma is one of the oldest sororities in existence. Its motto is “Do good” and members seek to fulfill this mission through philanthropic work for the visually impaired (“Service for Sight”). With 141,000 collegiate members initiated in its lifetime, Delta Gamma continues to be a home away from home for many women.
