Parkville High School - Autism Awareness

Parkville high has a diverse populations of both adolescents and staff, including over 100 students on the Autism Spectrum. As a special educator, I thought it would be a good idea to promote Autism awareness so that both students and staff could better understand this developmental disorder. Combined with our own fundraising efforts we were able to raise over $1,000 for the Autism Society in Bethesda, MD and the local news came to cover our awareness event!
