Annual Barbells for Boobs Fundraiser

"Every October @ my CrossFit Affiliate (CrossFit Massapequa), we partake in a fundraiser for an organization called Barbells for Boobs. Their mission is, "To mobilize and empower people to take action in breast cancer." During the month, we take donations, sell apparel, etc. that goes directly to Barbells for Boobs. On one specific Saturday, we perform a workout in honor of the charity and their cause. This year we did it on Saturday, October 20th & our classes WOD (Workout of the Day) was: For Time w/ a Partner: (45:00 Cap) "Kelly" 5 Rounds of: 400 Meter Run (relay style) 30 Box Jumps (24/20) 30 Wall Ball Shots (20/14) - Then - Double "Grace" 60 Clean & Jerks (Rx = 135/95, S = 115/75, 95/65, 75/55) - Then - "Karen" 150 Wall Ball Shots (20/14) *Work may be split any way, but only 1 athlete may work at a time. Our members and some of their family members came out to participate in &/or watch what we did. Had a great turnout and though the sale of some t-shirt & tank tops we had made up through Custom Ink, we were able to raise $520 that went directly to Barbells for Boobs. I have dealt with Custom Ink in the past and you are always a please to deal with as I always speak with someone very quickly if there is ever a problem and turnaround time is very fast!
