"My dad, Dave, was the most active, high-spirited person I ever met, enjoying life to the max. Dave owned a successful catering business called Encore Performance Catering, located in Redwood City, CA for nearly 30 years, working even after he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Bladder Cancer. Dave loved life, loved his business, and loved his family. My fiancé and I designed these shirts and surprised Dave to boost morale for our family and cheer everyone up when times got hard. As you can see in the photo, Dave (center) is surrounded by people (and his dog) who loved him dearly, as everyone always did and despite the sad situation, we had an uplifting day sporting our CustomInk 'Eat It Cancer' shirts. A former Navy SEAL, Dave fought hard in everything he did, but the cancer caught up with him over time. Even though he is not physically with us, we believe he is still alive and well, cooking in the big kitchen in the sky smiling down on us as we continue to wear our 'Eat It Cancer' shirts in his memory."
