"We lost one of our Guard girls in December to Leukemia. When Katie began her battle the Guard girls became 'Katie's Army'. They were always there with love and support for Katie during her journey. They wanted to design these shirts so that they could wear them to every Winterguard Competition starting this weekend. They wanted Katie to be a part of all of it. They chose purple because that was Katie's favorite color. Also, in the picture is Katie's Mom, Dad, and Brother. They came to visit the girls last Saturday during a pizza party that was given to them by 'Make-A-Wish-Foundation' from Katie thanking them for their love and support. They will always have a beautiful Guardian Angel to watch over them. And our girls will always have beautiful memories of Katie."
