"An Ironman triathlon is a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and then a 26.2-mile run (a marathon). My husband, a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force, does these endurance races as a hobby! A large group of friends and family gathered to support him and other Ironman participants at Ironman Wisconsin in Madison. In this photo, we're waiting for my husband to ride by on his bike at mile 82. With our bright red t-shirts on, our entire group was extremely visible to my husband as we cheered him on through his entire triathlon journey that day - finishing in 13 hours and 27 minutes - and on his birthday no less! He always tells people how awesome it was to see us in numerous places throughout the course - obviously a credit to those bright red Custom Ink shirts! They were so fun to design and easy to order. Thanks especially to the super friendly customer service rep who gave me tips throughout the design process!"
