"Our long time friend, Katie, died tragically in a car accident while returning from viewing the solar eclipse. In order to celebrate her life, we ran a half marathon in her memory. Katie was named after Katharine Hepburn so we used the quote, "If you obey all the rules you miss all the fun." We got so many compliments while running and the colors were more than perfect. Katie would have loved the shirts and we were proud to wear them. I unfortunately broke my foot while training but we decided that this race will become a tradition and we will wear these shirts again and again. Thank you Custom Ink for helping us memorialize our dear friend!"
