"Our school raises funds for the American Cancer Society by participating in Relay for Life on our community. Staff, students and their families are encouraged to join our team and walk at Relay with us. We created a team 3 years ago because a staff member was diagnosed with breast cancer. The following year another staff member was also diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, they are both in remission. "
