Spartan Finishers

"This was the D. C. Spartan Sprint 2017. Myself, Husband, brother, and sister in law completed our first Spartan in honor of my being alive. Because many doctors said I Shouldn’t be. I was told 15 years my autoimmune diseases would have me confined to a wheelchair with in 5 years of diagnosis, and would be dead with in 10 after that. 15 years later still walking and still alive. 2 years ago I almost died from a pulmonary embolism, not only did I survive but I restored my lungs and heart.
