Talquin Electric Co-op Youth Tour 2016

"Every year we sponsor local high school juniors for a two day trip around the capital to learn about electric cooperatives and how our state governmental system works. Four students are then selected for a week trip to DC in the summer where they learn how everything works on a national level and how it affects our everyday lives. These students meet up with 1,500 students from other electric cooperatives from around the United States and make lasting bonds.
