"My mom, Nilsa Violeta Brady, died of pancreatic cancer three months after diagnosis Aug. 2017 at the age of 84. Her favorite color was purple. My husband Jeff Crerie and I wrote the song Lavender Sky about her. Family members (including a sister from Kansas) joined us as Team Nilsa’s Lavender Sky during PurpleStride to fight pancreatic cancer in her honor. Jeff designed the shirts and because of his outstanding experience with Custom Ink, we had the shirts produced for the walk which took place Saturday, May 5th in Los Angeles...a week before my first Mother’s Day without her. Custom Ink helped in making this memorable!"
