"Race for Hope, Philadelphia, is a 5 K run and walk that my family participates in every year. About 18 months ago, my dad was diagnosed with 2 meningioma brain tumors, with one wrapped around his optic nerve. After a scary few months of losing his vision and high dose radiation, he is finally starting to be able to cope and function like himself. He was able to run the entire 3.2 miles at the race and continues to be an inspiration to my entire family. "
