Tough Mudder Team

"Who said that IT geeks can't have fun? Tough Mudder "is a team-oriented, 10-12 mile obstacle course designed to test physical strength and mental grit. [It] puts camaraderie over finisher rankings, and is not a timed race, but a team challenge." This sounded like a fun, tough team challenge for our IT department that required lots of team work. We decided to band together 26 participants, 4 children, and over 14 spectators. The excitement leading up to and still continuing weeks after the November 1, 2015 event was a welcome change in pace at work, and we all improved our camaraderie and respect towards one another after going through this race. To tie all of us together, we custom designed a Tough Mudder-themed shirt utilizing a combination of Photoshop and CustomInk's (CI) online tools, personalizing each with our names. The process could not have been easier, and we were very impressed by the customer service we had received. There were multiple production issues, but CI -- each rep we interacted with, especially our main contact, Jen -- took care of all of them in time for the event. We could not be happier with our shirt vendor choice, and we would whole-heartedly order from CI again. Everyone in the race team was impressed by the event, the team work, the challenges each one of us overcame, and the shirts we received. The enthusiasm has infected many others throughout the office, prompting them to want to join on the next challenge. To finish it all off, we ordered the largest canvas available of the picture to remind us of the team work, fun, and spirit that bonded us together that challenging day.
