"This photo was taken on May 17th at Soldier's Field Park in Boston. It is an event called Great Strides, hosted by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in which anyone in the CF community, patients, family, doctors, researcher, etc. participate. We start preparing for the event months in advance. We set up a team and create a donation goal. This is something that my company takes very seriously because we work so much with CF. Cystic Fibrosis is considered an orphan disease because 1 in every 2,500 - 3,500 white newborns will inherit it. Not a lot of companies want to target a disease with such a small populations, but my company knows that every little bit helps and we are willing to work towards finding a cure and adding tomorrows to those affected by the disease.
