Communication seemed to be a bit of a problem. I would send the shirt sizes but the quote would come back with different quantities. After wrestling with this for a few weeks, I felt disappointed that my students had to start the school year without their uniform shirts. Again, I'm willing to try Custom Ink again.

This is my second year using it to make superfan shirts for my wrestling team and it is proving to be the best option for me. I enjoy being able to design by hand or follow a template and change to fit my school. I enjoy the new feature of getting an email to confirm the design before they start printing as I was able to fix a few mistakes I had missed

I've NEVER ordered anything from here that hasn't been fantastic. I've ordered shirts for parties, the guys on my SWAT team, the kids on my wrestling team, my Church Security team, and more. I've got a shirt that I still wear from 2010(ish) that the printing is still perfect on, its the shirt it's self that is starting to get messed up. I have ordered shirts and things from local companies to try and support thier business......it's always turned out bad. Unless, it's for charity, I won't order from anywhere else.

Being the first time I've ever had to design a sweatshirt and order one for our school's wrestling team, the process couldn't have been easier. The on-line live chat to process our tax exempt and get the correct quantities ordered was smooth and flawless. Will use over and over.

Good quality and ease of use on web site. The only problem was my fault. I missed spelled a word and did not catch it. I wanted to put on shirt “The Mat Knows” but instead had typo and put “The Matt Knows”. “Mat” is for wrestling or jusitu mat and Matt is a persons name. It will look silly wearing in public. But again it was my fault. Would be nice if web site had a person checking for possible spelling errors.

Wow! I needed these in a very fast turn around for my son's State Wrestling competition. The website was amazing to work in!! The finished shirts look very nice, and I couldn't expect them to be better. Here was the only real problem I faced: The online shirt design software apparently does not match CustomInk's actual physical manufacturing capabilities. Apparently, the width of text, etc., that can be printed narrows drastically, but in a blocky fashion, toward the collar. Ok, that, while annoying, wouldn't be a big ordeal, except that I couldn't understand the builder (to my knowledge) doesn't display this and those helping me tweak the design didn't seem to be invested in making the re-designed product actually look good. They would modify the design in such a way that it looked pretty terrible, and I had to reiterate a few times the (very specific) reasons why the redesigns looked poor. It mostly felt to me like they were trying to rush the project out the door, without much thought to how the final product would look aesthetically. I finally managed to understand what could and could not be done sufficiently (which the builder, again, did not display) to redesign something that looked presentable, but it felt like a bit of a wrestling match getting them to care about what it looked like. However: I don't think this problem is probably best addressed by scolding those involved. How does one get a corporation to "care," after all? Besides, I'm not a fan of letting the corporate problems roll downhill onto those likely already overworked. This difficulty could have been alleviated, if not completely avoided, if the web design terminal actually displayed what the real-life manufacturing limitations were. In my instance, if I had been able to see, real time, the ways that the printable area changed with the placement of the printed elements, the likelihood that I would have designed an un-manufacturable product in the first place would have been much lower, and I could have understood and collaborated more easily in any needed re-design process, which would, in turn, have made the customer service experience much less frustrating. I know, based on CustomInk's website marketing, that they are very proud of their shirt designer. And I agree, it is rather robust in many ways. However, in my case, its lack of clarity directly caused more headache than I would have liked and, as you can see, also affected my perception of other aspects of my customer experience. As such, I have urged them, in the strongest terms, to reinvest in this software.

all the people I spoke to on the phone while making this happen were super positive, friendly, and helpful. Even when I was at my son's wrestling tournament in a noisy gym the CustomInk rep was super friendly and patient with me explaining the issues around the copyright concerns related to our original request - - bad reception and all she was patient and represented CustomInk wonderfully.
