About this campaign
Did you know that currently in the U.S., 1 in 3 children, or roughly 32.8%, are born by cesarean? ICAN seeks to promote the lowering of the cesarean rate as recommended by health organization watch dogs by offering support, education, and advocacy to birthing women.

Education! Information to all moms to be!
After two needed cesareans and an unnecesarean in between I know the value of ICAN's education and support. I am proud to be a part of this organization and help reach out to more moms with the same love and acceptance that I was shown!
I am 1 in 3. Part of my healing process is to acknowledge and accept that I am part of this statistic in the rise's peak in 2011. I am part of the epidemic and we are getting people to finally acknowledge and admit there is a problem.
I had a successful vba2c with a breech baby because I got support from local moms at a ican meeting! :)
I am a co-founder of ICAN.
My first was a preventable cesarean. Went on to have two successful vbacs, but wish I knew then the information available to me now.
