Butte Humane Society is one of the oldest non-profit agencies in Butte County, California, working since 1911 to bring humanitarian care to dogs, cats and other animals. We are a Limited Admission shelter that strives to make our animals as comfortable as possible during their stay with us. Saving Lives. Finding Homes. Inspiring Compassion.

I love knowing the Butte Humane society is out there helping the animals it can. Over five years ago I got my cat Kalie from them. I have never regretted going there to find her. I hope this organization is around forever to help out.
I try to support in whatever way that I can. The BHS has some a LONG way since I was a child in the '70's in the Chico area.I LOVE what yoo are doing and how yoo are doing it, esp incor-porating TNR. Keep up the good work.
