About this campaign
Red, white and blue. Speed, splendor and glory. The story of America’s Flagship, the SS United States, is a story of the nation’s confidence, pride and ambition. The largest, sole-surviving, and greatest ever American ocean liner smashed the transatlantic speed record using only two-thirds of her power. It’s a record that has stood the test of time. Against all odds, America’s Flagship remains proudly afloat, and with your help, we can still save her.

Dad, Walter L Paden, Jr, was an engineer for Gibbs&Cox, sailed on the trials, maiden and all voyages during the 1st 6 mo guarantee period. While at sea, he gave daily telephone reports to Mr Gibbs. This shirt is for 91 yr old Dad.
I was a 12 year old passenger in early July 1964 (NYC to Southampton, England) and mid August 1964 (Le Harve, France to NYC). Loved every single second!
When I was 9 months old, my parents and I were aboard the Maiden Return Voyage to New York. I enjoyed the storm!
Great cause, great tee!
Love for ocean liners.
I had money previously and whenever I get a few extra dollars I try to donate to vets, animals, and you guys.
I was honored to have sailed (1st class) on the SSUnitedStates in May 1962 and returned to the US on the SS America in 1964. It was a wonderful voyage (I even won a powder compact playing ping pong). I still have a letter written on SSUS stationary
