About this campaign
Did you know that currently in the U.S., 1 in 3 children, or roughly 32.8%, are born by cesarean? ICAN seeks to promote the lowering of the cesarean rate as recommended by health organization watch dogs by offering support, education, and advocacy to birthing women.

Knowledge is power and all women have a right to birth the way they want to!
I support ICAN because even if a cesarean is necessary it DOES NOT mean that all other births have to be by cesarean! I support TOLAC!!
I am 1 out of 3 and I hope to educate women to decrease that number. Knowledge is power!
I have had 1 c-section and suffered significant emotional trauma. There is an elephant in the room. Hoping for a VBAC this August.
Cesarean awareness has been a passion of mine after my first child was born by an unnecessary c-section. Through this organization and lots of education I went on to have 2 VBACs. Thank you, ICAN, for all the amazing work you do. <3
