About this campaign
Did you know that currently in the U.S., 1 in 3 children, or roughly 32.8%, are born by cesarean? ICAN seeks to promote the lowering of the cesarean rate as recommended by health organization watch dogs by offering support, education, and advocacy to birthing women.

Birth is a normal human process and c-sections should be kept for what they were designed for - lifesaving surgeries for mom/baby, NOT for convenience.
VBACs empower women
I'm happy to support ICAN who supported me after my desired natural birth became a necessary cesarean. Having women who understood where I was helped me process and heal. Hoping a VBAC will be in my future!
ICAN helped me in so many ways after my undesired cesarean with my first child. I went on to have two more children and had the support of my local ICAN chapter the whole way through. THANK YOU ICAN!
Because we all need to have access to care providers that truly support vbacs.
ICAN changed my life in so many ways! From my HBACs, becoming a chapter leader, and becoming a doula, ICAN has helped shape who I am & what I do for others!
