"Every year, the Windsor High School International Thespian Troupe in Imperial, Missouri, sponsor a Spina Bifida Awareness Week to support the family of Addie Pardeck, daughter of Kristy Pardeck, English teacher at Windsor High School. Addie was diagnosed with spina bifida at 20 weeks gestation. Kristy and her husband Keith decided to undergo fetal surgery to repair Addie's spine but she still suffers from some of the effects of spina bifida. Adelaide's Brigade is the group who supports enormous medical bills through various fundraisers both in and out of school.
