have you ever seen shakes, the clown'? bbacot goldthwait plays a kid's party clown who kinda just goes through the motions of day-to-day work, having to kiss the asses of the kids and the parents alike, turning to the bottle often while he's still at the parties, and drinking himself into oblivion robin williams has a funny part in this film, playing a mime instructor (they portray the clowns and the mimes as bitter rivals, and williams is hysterical).anyway, i guess its a comedy, but its more of a dude spiraling out of control type movie, replete with shakes getting ***** drunk and hitting rock bottom all the time.truth is its not *that* great of a movie interesting idea, *****ty executionhowever, a raging drunken clown, going through severe anger management issues, is one *definately* not to ***** with
